"Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape."
"But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness."
"But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet."

再度恢復一個人生活的日子, 有許多的謹慎, 憂慮, 恐懼, 和害怕。在每一日坐上車啟動引擎, 在晚上回家的路上發現有人尾隨, 在發現對門的鄰居是個愛坐在樓梯口吞雲吐霧兼喝酒的煙槍, 在被抽了35.5%的稅之後, 在月底行事曆上有七八筆費用要繳, 在車貸截止日的當天發現網路還沒有扣款.....害怕如同帖撒羅尼加前書這邊寫的 "在平安穩妥的時候, 災禍忽然臨到我們, 如果產難臨到懷胎的婦人一樣"。
但在我憂慮的時候, 神的話說 "Fear not, because I am with you." 在開車開一開又出現意外的狀況時, 祢使我平安。祢在這裡明白的告訴我, 也對我裡面的insecurity說, 我不是在黑暗裡的, 所以那日子, 災禍臨到我, 必不會像賊一樣。You keep me free from fear。
於是我在此向祢祈求, 我仍會害怕。那麼那時請幫助我記起祢的意念是平安的, 祢的賜予是富足不添加上憂慮的, 祢的應許是"是的"且是實在的。向你求那足夠的faith and love shield me from arrows of worries and fears.
Since I know my LORD and my LORD loves me, You’ll protect me, and recapture my security from enemies and hold in your hands. You’ll give me the faith strong enough so that I’m no longer worried, and no longer afraid. For You’ve taken my fears, nailed them on the cross when the time You’re crucified, now I can shout out loud, “May peace be with people who belong to the LORD.”
Thank You, Holy Spirit, now I know You're the one sent by the LORD to be my accompany.
No more fears because of You. Amen.
